Born and raised in central IL, Kristin prides herself on her Midwestern values. Building lasting, trusting relationships is important to her. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Math Education at Eastern Illinois University, Kristin moved out to Arizona to experience sunshine and to start her teaching career. Kristin has been a math teacher in Arizona for the past 14 years. After experiencing buying and selling of her own properties Kristin got the itch to get into real estate herself. She felt that there was a type of agent missing in the market; one that understood the importance of a family’s choice in schools and one that really listens to the client’s wishes and needs. Kristin’s favorite part of real estate is the find. She enjoys listening to her client’s desires and doing whatever she can to find them their dream home. As a proud citizen of Chandler, AZ and employee of the Chandler Unified School District, Kristin is knowledgeable of employers, schools, and entertainment in the Southeast Valley. When not showing client’s homes or teaching one class a day at ACP-Erie, Kristin enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and their two dogs.
What makes you laugh out loud?
Our son; Asher. I can watch him all day and laugh. Whether it be the way he shows his muscles, runs around and chases his puppies, or stops to dance to music wherever he is; that kid is hilarious. He is going to grow up thinking he is a comedian.
Is there a memorable trip you have been on?
In 2006 I had the opportunity to go to Malawi, Africa. Going to a third world country was truly a humbling experience. While there, I had an opportunity to help, feed and love on orphans, teach a math class at a local school (with no books, paper, or supplies), and go on a safari.
What words do you live by?
Be present. Be kind. Listen.
