Shipping Container Pools Arizona

Shipping Container Pools Arizona

Shipping Container Pools Arizona

Over the last several years, shipping containers have become quite popular in the world of real estate and architecture.  With the push for building green and the trend for smaller homes, repurposed shipping containers have made their way into our every day lives in the way of houses, apartments, hotels, workshops and offices.  So it should come as little surprise that shipping containers have made their way into the pool industry.  There have been other companies that have jumped into the shipping container pools Arizona market but in our opinion, one Canadian company called Modpools seems to have come the furthest so far in terms of style, technology and craftsmanship.

A simpler, pre-fab alternative to traditional pools, shipping container pools Arizona (Modpools) can be functional within minutes of being delivered and installed.  No more digging ditches and waiting weeks to pour and cure the pool – just have it delivered, hook it up to your plumbing and a 40 amp circuit and you are up and running.  Currently available in 8′ x 20′ and 8′ x 40′ container sizes, Modpools fits right into the modern/industrial home aesthetic and carries the additional appeal of being relocated or removed if desired.

What comes with these Modpool, shipping container pools Arizona you might ask?  How about customization from the colors of the exterior and cover to a built-in jet system that creates a constant current to swim against or for enjoying the water whirlpool-style.  You can enjoy warm water on the coldest of days with the Modpool heater as it can allegedly increase the water temperature by 86 degrees F over the course of an hour in temperatures as low as 15 degrees F.  Thankfully it doesn’t get close to that cold in Arizona however if you wanted to set up a hot tub in the pool it comes with a detachable divider that you can use to split the pool into two distinct sections and cranking the heat on just the one side.  And since it is easy to divide the pool, you can decide whether you want to keep it for the weekend or permanently. Gino’s East of Chicago Opens in Phoenix

Gino's East of Chicago Opens in Phoenix

Gino’s East of Chicago Opens in Phoenix

That’s right, Gino’s East of Chicago opens in Phoenix!  Its first Arizona location will open on Monday, April 24th 2017 at 4 p.m.  The valley has been a hotbed for Chicago area restaurants.  With the success of Portillo’s and Lou Malnati’s, to name a couple, it seems only fitting that we add another Windy City favorite to our dining choices.

Gino’s East of Chicago which opens in Phoenix will feature its legendary made from scratch deep-dish menu, thin crust pizza and a variety of fresh salads and sandwiches.  It will also have a selection of delicious craft beer, premium cocktail and wine.   What makes Gino’s East deep-dish pizza different is the use of cornmeal in their crust.  It makes it flaky and a totally different texture and and color than what you normally see.

Gino’s East of Chicago is celebrating 50 years in business.  It is a family owned restaurant with locations across Chicagoland, Wisconsin, Texas and Mexico City.  Gino’s East of Chicago in Phoenix will be the brand’s 18th location.

The building, located at 3626 E. Indian School Road in Arcadia, spans 4,400 square feet with an expansive outdoor patio.  Like all their other locations, guests are invited to write their names on the walls to leave their mark.  The goal of the building was to replicate the experience of the original Chicago Gino’s East with lots of exposed brick, reclaimed wood, and nostalgic photos of Chicago landmarks.

Ten percent of all proceeds earned during grand opening day will be donated to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. In addition, Gino’s East of Chicago is hosting a raffle in which customers will have a chance to win free pizza for a year (one pizza per month for 12 months). To enter, customers must come to the restaurant on opening day and fill out a raffle ticket. The winner will be notified on April 25th.

We can’t wait to check this place out!

Queen Creek Feastival

Queen Creek Feastival

Have you ever checked out the Queen Creek Feastival?  Looking for a family friendly event on a Friday evening?

This is a new find for us at Be home Realty and we are excited to try it out.  Every Friday 15-25 Food Trucks and a Boutique Market are set up in front of the Queen Creek Library.  The market contains local artists and crafters.  The Food Trucks bring a variety of yummy, gourmet food and each week there is live music.  Oh, and its free!   Dogs, on leashes are also welcome.  There are tables set up but feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, grab some yummy food, browse and purchase/support local artists, and relax while listening to some music with family and friends.

The Queen Creek Feastival rotates from over 120 Food Trucks so there is always a new truck to try.  I hear the The Main Lobster Lady even makes an appearance every now and then.  Check out the Queen Creek Feastival Facebook page to see what each week’s lineup is.

The Queen Creek Feastival is located at 21802 S Ellsworth Rd in Queen Creek just North of Ocotillo Rd.  This event runs year round and takes place from 5:30 – 9:00 pm.  Come check out this fun event in the fast growing east valley city of Queen Creek, just east of Gilbert and Chandler.

Flix Brewhouse Coming to Downtown Chandler

Flix Brewhouse Coming to Downtown Chandler

Flix Brewhouse Coming to Downtown Chandler

Flix Brewhouse Coming to Downtown Chandler

Remember that Movie Theater, Alamo Drafthouse, we all thought was coming to Downtown Chandler and then they ended up opening in South Chandler?  Well, another Movie Theater is now coming! That’s right, Flix Brewhouse is coming to Downtown Chandler!

LGE Design Build is working with the city in turning this wish into reality as they just signed the lease on Monday, January 23, 2017 to bring Flix Brewhouse to Downtown Chandler.  This 77,000 square foot project will be located at the southwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard.  Rezoning is on the fast track and groundbreaking is hopefully taking place in March with a tentative and optimistic open date in December 2017.

They will have restaurants on the ground floor and office space on top.  The first floor would contain a Flix Brewhouse.  According to their website, Flix Brewhouse is the only first run movie theater in the world to incorporate a fully functioning microbrewery.  Each “dining room” is outfitted with the latest high-definition digital projection and sound technologies, wall-to-wall curved screens, cushy high back chairs, and an Easy Glider moveable table top.

Flix Brewhouse brews nine of their own beers and offers 38 other draft beers for guests to enjoy as well as an extensive wine list and specialty non-alcoholic drinks.  The lobby bar and café is open to the public, so you can stop by without a ticket to enjoy a bite to eat and or have a drink anytime.
We will keep you updated on this exciting new Downtown Chandler Development!

Trilogy at Power Ranch Floor Plans

Trilogy at Power Ranch – One Day and Dream at a time

Below you will find Trilogy at Power Ranch Floor Plans which will hopefully help in exactly what you are looking for.  Let me take a second and pass along what I have found to be a couple reasons we end up spending many of our un-exchangeable and cherished years at Trilogy Power Ranch.  For one, it is the location where Trilogy Power Ranch is located.  Trilogy at Power Ranch is located near the San Tan Mountains just outside of Phoenix in one of the most sought after areas in the Southeast Valley – Gilbert, Arizona.  In this burgeoning city, you’ll have access to great township amenities such as fine dining and great shopping.  Great you say, I’m not familiar with Gilbert or the area.  First, Gilbert, Arizona has been recognized as the second safest city in the United States for the second year in a row by Law Street Media. Utilizing data from the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report Statistics, the study reviewed cities with populations over 200,000 and credits Gilbert’s high ranking to the city’s more than 10% drop in violent crime rate in the last year.  Secondly, [Read more…]

Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde

Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde

Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde – Scarcity

If you are reading this right now then you are probably either familiar with Trilogy Power Ranch to some degree or have seen one of my other blogs describing the different floor plans at Trilogy Power Ranch.  That is because there were not very many Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde models built during the construction of the subdivision.  This is not due to lack of interest in the Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde model, as it is clearly a desirable floor plan for re-sales; but is more of a result that there wasn’t a Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde model home for potential buyers to walk through and I believe when there are many models to choose from it can be difficult for salespeople to go over all the models and benefits of each home in detail.  Therefore, what happens like in Trilogy Power Ranch, there are a few models that make up the majority of the homes built in the community.  Supply and demand plays a role as well with a limited number of Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde model homes in the community.  If someone really wants a Trilogy Power Ranch Palo Verde model home and there are only so many to choose from (supply) then the demand may become higher for these homes as a result.

Lou Malnati’s Pizza is coming to Phoenix!

Lou Malnati's coming to Phoenix

Lou Malnati’s Pizza is coming to Phoenix

Lou Malnati’s Pizza is coming to Phoenix!  This will be the famous pizzeria’s first venture outside of the Chicago area.  For all you Chicago deep dish pizza fans, this is a big deal!  I too wish this location was a little closer for us southeast valley residents, but believe me, it will be worth the drive.

Lou Malnati got his start in the 1940’s working in Chicago’s first deep dish pizzeria. He took his pizza expertise and opened the first Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in 1971. Lou was known for his fun-loving character as well as making Chicago’s best pizza and today is considered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza.  This is a family-owned company.  Five members of their management team volunteered to permanently relocate to Arizona to bring the true taste of Chicago to Phoenix.

Malnati’s success comes from their commitment to quality. Every Lou Malnati’s pizza is handmade from scratch using the finest and freshest ingredients. Every year, the Malnati team hand selects California vine-ripened tomatoes for the perfect sweet and tangy taste. The exclusive sausage blend is seasoned to their exact specifications. The fresh mozzarella cheese comes from the same small dairy that has supplied Lou Malnati’s for over 40 years in Wisconsin. And the family’s secret recipe for flaky, buttery crust has been passed down from generation to generation.  The secret to the dough is Lake Michigan water Malnati says.  So, they are working on replicating the pH level of their water for the Phoenix location.

The Phoenix location will be located at 100 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix.  It will offer dine-in, carry-out, catering, and delivery.  Lou Malnati’s is coming to Phoenix!  This famous Chicago deep dish pizza restaurant is slated to open in May.  Until then you can get one of these yummy pizza’s shipped to your door.

La Bocca and Modern Margarita coming to Chandler

La Bocca and Modern Margarita coming to Chandler

La Bocca and Modern Margarita coming to Chandler

La Bocca and Modern Margarita are coming to Chandler!  We first heard they were coming to The Row, which was a development to be anchored by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in downtown Chandler.  But after over a year delay, ground not broken, the Alamo Drafthouse moving to another Chandler location (read our blog about that here), and both restaurants being sold, we thought we had also lost La Bocca and Modern Margarita.  However, it has been announced that La Bocca and Modern Margarita are coming to downtown Chandler after all.  Both restaurants will occupy the space that was Coach & Willies sports bar on the southeast corner of Arizona Avenue and Boston.

La Bocca Urban Kitchen + Wine Bar , which has two other locations (one on Mill Avenue in Tempe and the other at High Street in North Phoenix), is known for its Mediterranean and Italian-inspired menu that includes everything from hummus to prosciutto and fig bruschetta to pizza. The wine bar also offers more than 150 wines from around the world and a cocktail menu.

Modern Margarita, which has one other location at High Street in North Phoenix, is an “urban taco and tequila bar” that serves tacos, nachos, salads, and burgers, as well as a dozen different varieties of margaritas.

Construction has already begun to divide the space for the two restaurants.  La Bocca and Modern Margarita are slated to open late spring.

Two more reasons to head to Downtown Chandler for a night out!
